Founded in 1565 by Spanish explorers and touted as the nation’s oldest city, St. Augustine is a tourist destination sure to be enjoyed because of its rich history, Spanish colonial architecture and Atlantic Ocean beaches.
The SSCA Cruisers Conference and Gam will be held at the St. Augustine Shrine Club November 11th-13th. Pre-gam activities on November 10th feature a Happy Hour at the St Augustine Yacht Club with SSCA members guests of Bill Goebel. Registration will open August 15th, at
www.ssca.org. The SSCA Annual Meeting will be from 1 to 3 PM on November 12th. Note your Meal can be selected during registration, each day with options for Continental Breakfasts, Lunches, plus the Dinner Banquet on Saturday Nov 12th. Online registration closes Friday, November 4th.
Speakers include Addison Chan, Bill Cullen, Scott Berg, Chris Parker, Donna Lange, Neil Davies to name just a few of speakers being featured during the three days of seminars. John Kretschmer has offered to join us for a virtual seminar, live from Spain where he is expecting to arrive from a challenging North Atlantic passage via Greenland, Iceland and points north of the regular paths!
