Thank you for taking interest in SSCA leadership and having the desire to shape the future of the organization. Board members have the opportunity to help determine such things as policy decisions, programming, gams, boat show participation, website/media presence, and future activities.

 

 

Board terms are for three years and board members communicate by email, Zoom calls and once a year in person (reimbursement based on SSCA bylaws and policy guidelines after the Annual General Meeting in November. Any member (Commodore, Cruiser or Associate) can themselves nominate themselves for consideration as a board candidate regardless of cruising grounds or home port. This regardless of cruising grounds or home port. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to expand their involvement in SSCA as well as gain experience on a not-for-profit board.

 

Upon completion of this application, please send a photo of yourself to office@ssca.org with Board Application as the subject line of the email.

 

Nominees will be considered on merit by the Nominations Committee. Selected nominees will be put forward to a vote of the SSCA membership.

Please Note: The application must be completed in one uninterrupted sitting. The system does not save an incomplete application and allow you to return later to complete it.
