Seven Seas Cruising Association is sponsoring a event in San Diego, California on October 27, from 2pm to 5pm at the Silvergate Yacht Club, 2091 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego, 92106.<br /><br />2:00 pm American Cetacean Society of San Diego will present on the whales and dolphins that cruisers are likely to cross paths with as they head south to Mexico.<br /><br />3:30 pm The Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans will present on the environment of Baja and the Sea of Cortez and how cruisers can positively impact those areas.<br /><br />4:30 pm The Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans will have a special workshop with Kid Crews and provide them with kits to help identify the critters they might see as they explore Baja and the Sea of Cortez.<br /><br />We hope to see all cruisers in the area at this event. It is FREE OF CHARGE.
