SUNFORCE 400 watt wind generator #44444

SUNFORCE 400 watt wind generator #44444

A little help PLEASE,

We have been using this for 7 months and the braking system keeps locking it up. The braking stays on.
After corresponding back and forth with a distributor we are told it must have a new controller. They do not recommend bypassing the controller so we can manually brake it ourselves. We are cruising and will not be home for another 3 months. We need this wind
generator and our last homemade generator was a manual braking. We can wait til we get home to install a new controller, but what's to say it will not happen again? There must be a way to bypass this controller.
You think you are upping your game with higher tech...built in regulator integrated with the braking and that is the problem.
We were told by another cruiser with an AIR X that he had to do the same thing with his. He was also an engineer.
Has anyone done this bypass with success on this particular unit???
Thanks in advance for any advice.
