A few years back we did a lot of testing of these for an article; after a year of careful testing we found no change in the batteries using the system (we had a control group without the pulser). We tested 6 brands, including digital scope analysis of their wavelengths/pulses/etc. Conclusion, they aren't powerful enough to do anything.

We didn't bother to publish because by the time we were done three of the six units we were testing discontinued their products and one admitted that their own testing showed no improvement.

Some pulsing technology may indeed be helpful but it would take a MUCH larger pulse than any of these 12v units are capable of. Periodic equalization proved MUCH more effective than anything else.
