DANGER: Bad Link to ransomware

by SailRN » Wed Jul 15, 2015 2:17 pm

All, I was cruising through the resource page on the SSCA website under crew wanted. I clicked on Cruiser Log and was directed to a ransomware web site. I tried calling the SSCA office but it was unmanned so I'm posting the warning here.

Thank's Craig. Found it. Not on our end but on the other end of the link. We'll take our link down.

Thanks for leaving a voice-mail -- Judi checked messages and called me.

The link still seems to be there, though I confess I haven't clicked on it again.

Craig - no sign of it. Have you cleared the cache in your browser? Barb deleted the links right after I sent her an e-mail about the issue. Could you check?

It is under the Crew Search web page: http://www.ssca.org/cgi-bin/pagegen.pl? ... ce%20Links and is still there, after refresh.
