We invite you to join us for a day of informational seminars and camaraderie, all focused on cruising, at the 4th Annual St. Pete Gam Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. As with all SSCA events, it will be a great value as well as a great time.
While the Gam lasts only one day, there will be a "meet and greet" the night before (February 21st) at Courigan's Irish Pub (1 Beach Dr. SE, Unit 41) starting at 5:00 pm. It's close to the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Just look for the SSCA burgees!
Register now as space is limited! Registration on the day of the Gam may be possible, but since meals need to be pre-ordered, lunches can not be guaranteed for any on-site registrations.
The day-long gam on February 22nd will include one track covering presentations from cruising destinations to general cruising topics. Registration opens at 7:45 am. In addition, vendors will be set up to talk with you about their products and services that can enhance your cruising lifestyle. The day will conclude with a cash bar reception around 5:00 pm.

There is paid parking in the parking garage at the yacht club, at Al Lang Stadium Parking (1st Ave. S and Bayshore) and along the streets surrounding the yacht club. There is also a lot across the street from the City Marina.
SSCA has not reserved a block of rooms but you can use this link to find accommodations in the area if you need a sleeping room.
Slips and Anchorage
Because the St. Petersburg City Marina is very full, anyone needing a slip must call ahead and inquire about a transient slip reservation. The City Marina and Demens Landing are currently undergoing construction. They will be open during Pier construction but the mooring field will be closed during construction. To get a construction update and inquire about space, contact the marina at 800-782-8350, email@example.com or VHF Channel 16. For further information on transient slips, use this link.
Also, Harborage Marina is available and the Vinoy Hotel has a marina and mooring field, both of which are within walking distance.
We look forward to meeting you at the SSCA St. Pete Gam and welcoming you to St. Petersburg for a great informative and social day. Space is limited and we expect the event to fill up quickly so sign up early.
Contact Sue Kelly with questions about the gam.
