SSCA Cruising Station Hosts GB and Sarah Bucknell will host the St. Croix Gam on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 4:00 pm with a potluck in their home (5015 Teague Bay).  A pre-gam happy hour will be held at the St. Croix Yacht Club on Friday, February 22nd at 5:30 pm and dinner will be available for purchase.  They'll also be offering Ham radio testing at noon on Saturday, February 23rd at the Deep End Restaurant for those wanting to upgrade or acquire a new license.  Transportation will be available.

Vessels may anchor outside the mooring field in Christiansted Harbor or in Gallows Bay for the Thursday event (below).  Dinghy tie-up is available and simple along the boardwalk in Christiansted.  Vessels may anchor in Teague Bay and enjoy the use of the facilities at the St. Croix Yacht Club for the Sunday potluck and dinghy tie-up is easy at the yacht club dock.  The Bucknell's home is a short walk just up the hill from the yacht club.  And, they will offer transportation as well.

While in St. Croix, Sarah suggests you take part in the very popular Art Thursday in historic downtown Christiansted on February 21st.  On the 3rd Thursday of each month, artists open their galleries and studios from 5:00-8:00 pm to share their talent and creative designs.  Many will feature a new exhibit, guest artists, or unveil a new design.  You'll enjoy live music and complimentary refreshments as you stroll through town and discover beautiful paintings, sculptures, jewelry, photography, and more created by established and emerging artists.

If you have questions or plan to attend the gam, contact Sarah at 340-514-1607 or djarrka@gmail.com.
